Elaine Santiago, 89, a resident of Beacon for 12 years and formerly of the Bronx, died on November 8, 2016 at the Wingate at Beacon.

Born in Manhattan on April 23, 1927, she was the daughter of Carmelo and Josephine Ortiz Tirado. Elaine received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Monroe Institute in the Bronx, and had worked as a bookkeeper at the World Trade Center. She was a parishioner of St. John's Church in Beacon.

Elaine is survived by her daughters and their husbands, JoAnn Santiago of Rye, Eliane and Reynold Saint Cyr of Denville, NJ, and Anna and Ricardo Quintero of Beacon; her daughter-in-law, Evelyn Santiago; her grandchildren, Marcos Santiago Jr., Stephanie DeFreitas, John Marcos Baez, Justin Saint Cyr, Gabriel Saint Cyr, Ricardo Quintero Jr., and Analise Enright; her ten great-grandchildren; her brother, Xavier Gordian; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Marcos Santiago; and her son, Marcos Santiago.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 Willow Street, Beacon followed by interment in St. Raymond's Cemetery.
