Obituary for
Salvatore "Sal" Petruzziello
Salvatore Petruzziello, a Fishkill resident for over 25 years and formerly of Connecticut, died on Monday, September 17, 2018 at home in Fishkill. He was 56.
Son of the late Joseph and Norma (Arkless) Petruzziello, he was born in Brooklyn on February 21, 1962. He was raised in West Haven, CT, where he remained until moving to Fishkill in 1992. Sal worked in construction for most of his life, and enjoyed many hobbies such as baking and playing video games. He loved football and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan.
On April 22, 1989, he married Linette Link at St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill. Linette survives at home.
Sal is also survived by his daughter, Kymberli Spiconardi & her husband Vincent of Wappingers Falls; his son, Daniel Petruzziello of Fishkill; his brother, Dave Petruzziello of West Haven, CT; his sister, Doreen Petruzziello of West Haven, CT; his mother-in-law, Marie Leonelli of Fishkill; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mike Bochar of Fishkill, Michael & Tara Link of Newburgh, Gary & Suzanne Link of Wappingers Falls, and Laurie & Reg Gordon of Galway, Ireland; also many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many other loving relatives & friends.
In addition to his parents, Sal was also predeceased by his sister, Carol Bochar and his brother, Tony Petruzziello.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
