Obituary for Richard Kent Falasco

Sadly, our precious Richard passed away suddenly of natural causes on 14 January 2016. Richard exemplifies the finest and most noble traits of a true leader. He was a man of honor, integrity, generosity and courage. Richard’s humor and wit is unstoppable and contagious.

Richard's ability to touch every soul he interacts with is undeniable and unrivaled.

Most notably, Richard is an outstanding father to his two sons, Cameron and Vincent. Richard is a devoted and loving father who always goes above and beyond for his children. He touches his sons' hearts and fills them with more love than words could ever express. There is not a day that goes by where Richard does not touch them with his love and support. His influence will live on in the hearts of his children, whom he loved unconditionally. Richard was a devoted and loving Son who loved his family with all his heart.

Richard is a decorated war hero and honorable veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He served God and Country and did so with the utmost pride and valor. His perseverance, dedication and selfless love for others, especially his younger brother, Bert, best demonstrates his positive example for others to follow. His tenacity in times of personal strife, both at home and abroad, never wavered in his quest to do the right thing when others would have easily walked away.

Richard was an active member and participant of the Wounded Warrior Program and a very proud member of the 92nd Engineer Battalion. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Richard to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Richard enjoyed golfing, playing video games, cooking, dirt bike racing, and doing martial arts. He enjoyed comedy films, especially Ghostbusters and Back to the Future. He also collected Anime Memorabilia.

Richard Kent Falasco lives vicariously through us all.
