Obituary for Maria Antonio Provencial

Maria Antonio  Provencial
Mary Antonio Perrotta, of Batesville, Georgia, born January 3 1924, passed on August 5, 2016. She came to this country from a family of olive farmers in Italy. She went to Bellevue College of Nursing where she practiced nursing and soon after married a young marine, the late Ernest Russell Provencial, who was a restauranteur, hotelier and entrepreneur. Mary’s passion was her family, sewing and helping others.

As a devoted wife and mother, she will forever be missed by her 5 children and their families: Fred Provencial and his wife Virginia, Russell Provencial and his wife Alberta, Christine Holcomb and her husband Brian, Yvonne and Preston Riner, and Michael Provencial and wife Jerylann Warner. Her love lives on in her 10 grandchildren: Christopher and his wife Michele Provencial, Fred and his wife Debra Provencial, Noelle Provencial, Marcelle Provencial, Michelle Provencial, Brianna and husband Matthew Biggers, Kristen Holcomb, Anna Mia Warner, Benjamin Provencial and Preston Riner Jr., and 5 great grandchildren: Candice and her husband Ryan Anderson, Freddie Provencial, Michael Provencial, Christopher Provencial and Hendrick Biggers.

She is survived by her brother Tony and his wife Vera Perrotta and her sister Nancy Recine and Phil Sanna. She will join her brother Pat Perrotta and her parents, Cristina and Federico Perrotta in heaven.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 15th from 9-11 am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by a funeral service at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Ferncliff in Hartsdale, NY near her husband, parents and her brother.
