Obituary for Timothy E. Russell Jr.

Timothy E. Russell Jr.
STORMVILLE - Timothy E. Russell, Jr., 36, a lifelong area resident, died on January 3, 2018 from injuries sustained in an accident.

Born in Poughkeepsie on March 17, 1981, he was the son of Timothy and Donna (McLaughlin) Russell. Timmy was the owner and operator of Country View Landscapes. He was a member of the Southern Dutchess Horse & Pony Club, and drove race cars as #88 at Middletown Raceway. Timmy loved life, and enjoyed hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, four wheeling, riding his Harley, and country music. More than anything, he loved animals and will be greatly missed by his “children” - his dog Bear, and his horses Diesel and Whiskey.

In addition to his parents, Timmy is survived by his sisters, Anne VanVlack and her husband Mark, and Melissa Russell and her fiancé Roger Johansson; his brother, Jason Russell; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Coryea, Skyler Hoysradt, Callie VanVlack, Sabastian Russell, and Dylan Russell; his girlfriend, Nicole Miller and her son Aiden Gorish; and his best friends, Tom Truss and his daughter Hailey, and William Rivera.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a funeral service on Monday at 11am at the funeral home.

Due to Timmy’s love of all animals, memorial donations may be made to the Dutchess County SPCA or any animal related organization. Please visit Timmy’s Book of Memories at www.mchoulfuneralhome.com. “Suck it up buttercup”
