Grace Frances  Manise
FISHKILL-Grace Frances Manise, 99, an area resident for 17 years, died peacefully at home on June 25, 2018. She previously lived in the Bronx.
Born on April 5, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Saverio and Grace (Cantesano) Iuele. Grace worked as a dress maker in the Garment District of Manhattan for many years until her retirement.
In 1955, she married Nicholas Manise who predeceased her in 1988 after 33 years of marriage.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Frances Iuele; her nieces and nephews, Vincent and Rosemary Orlando, Vincent Iuele, Jr., Richard and Liz Iuele, Al and Linda Iuele, Kathryn and Barny McNamee, and Peter and Kendra Iuele; and many great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Grace was also predeceased by her siblings, Domenica, Frances, Andrew, Adele, and Vincent.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday at 10 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill followed by burial at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in the Bronx.
