Obituary for Kerry Ann Pacacha (Schiavo)

Kerry Schiavo Pacacha, a 16 year resident of Wappingers Falls, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on July 13, 1965, Kerry was a bookkeeper employed by Skyview Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning in the Bronx. On June 28, 1997, Kerry married George Pacacha.

Kerry’s love of her children, books, cats, dolls, and all things Disney were known by all. Kerry lived to watch her children participate and excel in their sport of choice, bowling. Whether it be for fun or competition, Kerry’s voice could be heard cheering above all others during the bowling matches at Schneider’s Fishkill Bowl. Her bowling friends became her bowling family.

Kerry is survived by George Pacacha; her children, George Jr. and Victoria; her mother, JoAnn Woods and her husband Thomas; her father, Anthony Schiavo; her brothers, Anthony Jr. and Louis Schiavo; and her four beloved cats, Mush, Pebbles, Cookie and Peanut. Kerry was predeceased by her infant daughter, Ashley; her paternal aunt, Theresa Forella; and her beloved grandmother, Ida “Nana” Schiavo.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
