Ellen Votta Obituary - Hopewell Junction, New York

WAPPINGERS FALLS – Ellen J. Votta, 72, an area resident for 4 years, died on August 2, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She previously lived in Yonkers and Long Lake.

Born in Yonkers on July 17, 1946, Ellen was the daughter of the late John and Jean (Knapp) Slovik. On June 19, 1965 in Yonkers, she married Alexander J. Votta. Her loving husband of 49 years predeceased her in 2014.

Ellen is survived by her daughters, Andrea DeFino of Wappingers Falls and Suzanne Ehrichs and her husband Keith of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, Jessica DiLiddo, Jonathan DiLiddo, and April Ehrichs; her step-grandchildren, Megan LeDoux and her husband Brenton and Kaitlyn Ehrichs; and her step great-grandchildren, Liam and Maddox.

Ellen will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed shopping and watching TV, especially Lifetime and QVC channels.
