Obituary for Carmine Gugliotti

Carmine Gugliotti, 84, a resident of Hopewell Junction for 42 years and previously of the Bronx, died on September 3, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born on August 30, 1934 in Naples, Italy, Carmine was the son of Biase and Maria (Daddone) Gugliotti.
On August 20, 1960 in the Bronx at Mount Carmel Church, Carmine married the love of his life, Lucia Prisciandaro who survives at home.
Carmine worked as a manager/butcher at Grand Union in Cold Spring for many years. After he retired, Carmine loved to travel with his wife. He was a parishioner at St. Columba Church. He took her on tours of most of Europe and the United States. He enjoyed his vegetable garden and his rose bushes.
In addition to his wife, Carmine is survived by his children, Maria Reitknecht and her husband Robert of Ridgefield, CT, Isabella Zytowski and her husband Alan of Stephens City, VA, Carmela Hussing and her husband Thomas of Hopewell Junction, Benny Gugliotti of Beaverton, OR; his 7 grandchildren, Thomas Wilson, Keith Zytowski, Kevin Zytowski, Rebecca Zytowski, Laura Hussing, Collette Hussing, and Henry Hussing; and his siblings, Nick Gugliotti, Anna Battaglia, Victoria Frangiosa and Jackie DeMichele.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5 to 8pm at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 9:30am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
