Condolence: Ruth and Patty were our neighbors at Indian Summer in Corolla and we eagerly looked forward to seeing them every year. We will miss Ruth's hearty laugh in particular and her welcoming spirit and will remember ya'all at four o'clock down by the pool.

Condolence: My family has ties to the Young family way back to my grandmother’s days. I can remember,as a child, a get together on a lake with Ruth’s family, my grandparents, and my parents. Ruth’s father, Danny, was best man in my parent’s wedding. I remember my grandmother, Marie Kaussner, telling me what a wonderful family the Youngs were. And I found that to be true by their warmth and hospitality. Although I only met Ruth once or twice, I am saddened by her loss at a too young age. Please know her family and friends are in my prayers at this sad time.
