Obituary for Hans Jurgen Jarosz

Hans Jurgen Jarosz, a resident of Fishkill since 1990 and formerly of White Plains and The Bronx, died peacefully at home on Thursday, March 7, 2019. He was 73.
Son of the late Michael and Katarina (Kranz) Jarosz, he was born in Kassel, Germany on December 8, 1945 and later emigrated to the United States. In 1964, Hans enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served his country during the Vietnam War, specializing in reconnaissance. He achieved the rank of Corporal and was honorably discharged from active duty in 1967 and then remained in the USMC Reserves until 1970.
From 1990 to 2001, he worked as an executive chauffer for Merrill Lynch at the company’s headquarters in Manhattan.
On August 18, 1984, he married Sheree LaGoy in Newburgh. Sheree survives at home in Fishkill.
Hans is also survived by his son, John Jarosz & his wife Stephanie of Torrington, CT; his daughter, Maggie Clark & her husband Jason of Fishkill; his grandsons, Brady Jarosz, Logan Jarosz, and Hans Clark; any many other relatives & friends.
Private services & entombment were held at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill.
