Obituary for Jeneva Iva Boss
NORTH CHESTERFIELD, VA - Jeneva Iva Boss, 87, died on May 2, 2019 at her home in Virginia where she has lived since 2016. She previously lived in Beacon, NY and Barre, VT.
Born on July 18, 1931 in Pomfret, VT, Jeneva was the daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Roberts) DeRosie. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, knitting, and crocheting.
She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Terry and David Prior, Iva and Dieter Kaltz, and Karen and Greg Deford; her grandchildren, Owen O’Neill, Liam and Larissa O’Neill, Seamus and Melissa Loftus, David and Rosalia Stauffer, Jason and Takako Stauffer, Kennard and Justine Stauffer, Markus Kaltz, Daniel Kaltz and Mary Valler, and Kristina Kaltz; her granddaughter-in-law, Adrienne O’Neill; her great-grandchildren, Michael, Trent, Nevaeh, Margaret, Kade, Terence, Chloe, Lucia, and Julia; her siblings, Gertrude, Arlene, and Margaret; and many nieces and nephews. Jeneva was looking forward to the birth of her 10th great-grandchild, Killian.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Kenneth M. Light in 1969, her husband, Eugene I. Boss in 2009; and her grandson, Terence O’Neill.
