GLENHAM – Zachary Joseph Reinoehl passed away with his family at his side on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla. He was 13.
A lifelong resident of Dutchess County, Zack was born in Poughkeepsie on February 25, 2006. He attended Abilities First and was a student at the organization’s facility in LaGrange.
Zack will be remembered for his carefree spirit and the joy he brought to others with his affectionate smile and laughter. He loved the outdoors, and especially cherished spending time at the seashore. In addition to his expertise as a “foody”, he also enjoyed listening to music of all styles and genres.
Despite the limitations he faced, Zack lived his life unconditionally with the sky as the limit.
He is survived by his parents, Joshua and Christina (Evans) Reinoehl, Jr.; his brother and sister, Codie and Makayla Reinoehl; his grandparents, Irene Ladensack, Ronald Evans, and Joshua & Karen Reinoehl, Sr.; his great-grandparents Gloria Evans, and Clarence “Lank” and Nora Reinoehl; many aunts and uncles including Shawna & Ryan Barnes, Nicholas Reinoehl & Nicole Attard, Joann Ladensack and Robert Santiago, and Larry & Tina Pendleton, II. Zack is also survived by many cousins, and other loving relatives & friends.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 17 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill.
