Obituary for Robert Kussel
WAPPINGERS FALLS – Robert Thomas Kussel, of Wappingers Falls, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospital in East Stroudsburg, PA. He was 64.
Robert was born in Manhattan on April 8, 1955. His family later relocated to Dutchess County, where he graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School in Wappingers Falls and Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie.
For the past 10 years, Robert has served as partner and vice president of Consolidated Refrigerant Solutions in Marlboro. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially skiing and golfing.
On September 4, 1993, he married Judith Steinberg in Port Chester. Judith survives at home in Wappingers Falls.
Additional survivors include his daughter, Karlee Kussel & her partner Jose Segarra, Jr. of Poughkeepsie; his son, Shawn Kussel of Wappingers Falls; his stepdaughter, Debbie Smith of Wappingers Falls; his stepson, Michael Hall & his partner Erycka Rupina of Hyde Park; his granddaughters, Kayla and Alyssa; his father, Thomas Kussel of Florida; his sister, Kathleen Clarke & her husband David of North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives & friends.
Robert was predeceased by his mother, Gertrude (Rittenhouse) Kussel, in 2004.
