Obituary for Alice Frances Zrodlowski
Alice Frances Zrodlowski, a Beacon, NY resident since 2011 and formerly of Hamburg, NY, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Wingate at Beacon Health Care Facility in Beacon, NY.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Koltys) Melewski, she was born in Lackawanna, NY on August 26, 1921. In June 1946, she married Stanley Zrodlowski at St. Hyacinths Church in Lackawanna, NY. She was predeceased by her husband in 1991.
Alice was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of St. Mary's Church of the Lake, in Hamburg, NY She also enjoyed gardening.
In addition to her parents and husband, Alice was also predeceased by two sons: Stanley Zrodlowski in 2002 and Paul Zrodlowski in 1982; as well as her brother, Edward Melewski in 2016.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Sandra Zrodlowski; her grandsons and their wives, Evan & Carrie Zrodlowski, Jason & Tiffany Zrodlowski, and Ian & Keri Zrodlowski; her great-grandchildren, Emma, Lance, Jackson, Audrey, Lila, Dominique, Levi, Hadley, and Judah; and many other loving relatives & friends.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 19 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lackawanna, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary of the Lake Church, 4737 Lakeshore Rd., Hamburg, NY 14075
