Isolde G. Conway, 69, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 1983, died on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born on October 6, 1949 in Leipheim, Germany, Isolde was the daughter of Adolf and Gertrud (Lukas) Seidler. On July 18, 1971 in Brooklyn, Isolde married the love of her life, Robert Conway who survives at home.
Isolde worked as a statistician for Lufthansa German Airline in East Meadow, Long Island.
In addition to her husband, Isolde is survived by her children, Robert Conway and his partner, Emily of Highland, Nicole Fares of Accord, Jessica Torino and her husband, Rich of New Mexico, Melissa Masarweh and her husband, Mazen of Tennesee, and Damaris Toro and her partner Leslie of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Adm, Bryanna, Lukas, Robert, Preston, Solomon, Yasmeen, Ryan, Vy, and Anabel; and her sister, Margot Hartlieb and her husband, Hansi.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6-8pm at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction.
