Obituary for Karl B. Buck Jr.
Karl B. Buck, Jr., 61, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh.
He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on May 6, 1958. His family then moved to Jamaica, West Indies, where they resided for many years until moving to New York City. Karl lived in the Bronx up until 2015, when he relocated to New Windsor.
Karl worked for Metropolitan Hospital in New York City for over 25 years. He retired as Housekeeping Supervisor in 2018. He enjoyed traveling, most especially visiting Jamaica.
He is survived by his children, Danielle Buck of Elizabeth, NJ and Tranell Morton of Colonia, NJ; his granddaughter, Alani; his father, Karl B. Buck, Sr., of New Windsor; his brothers, Kevin A. Buck of Spring Valley and Kurt L. Buck, Sr. of Port St. Lucie, FL; his friend and former wife, Tracy Jones of Colonia, NJ; his long term companion, Gail Isaacs of Brooklyn, NY; as well as many nieces & nephews and other loving relatives & friends.
Karl was predeceased by his mother, Olive (Collington) Buck, on May 9, 2015.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A service will be held at 7 p.m. immediately following calling hours.
