Obituary for Anna C. Bello (Silvestri)
Anna Bello, of New Milford, Connecticut and formerly of Hopewell Junction and Ossining, passed away on Friday, January 31st, 2020 at Danbury Hospital. She was 81. Anna was born on May 11th, 1938 to the late Luigi and Concetta Silvestri.
Anna was predeceased by her husband, Ralph, whom she married on May 7th, 1961 at St. Mary, Star of the Sea in Brooklyn.
In addition to being a devoted member of the New Milford Seniors, Anna was an animal lover, enjoyed playing cards, trying her luck at the casinos in Atlantic City, going to the beach, but most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren who were her world.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Francine Speede and her husband Mark; her son, James Bello and his wife Marci; her daughter, Christine Bello; her grandson, Michael Bello and his wife Dianna; her grandson, Ralph Bello and his wife Karinta; her grandson, Brandon Speede and his wife Carley; her grandson, James Bello and his wife Nicole; her granddaughter, Tiffany Brown; her grandson, Christopher Brown and his wife Davia; her grandson, William Speede and his wife Samantha; her granddaughter, Alexis Brown; her granddaughter, Justina Bello; her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jayden, Mason, Gabriella, Christopher “CJ”, Karinta, and Miles; and her brother, Joseph.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Debra; her son, Michael; her brother, Ralph; her sister Josephine; her brother, Tony; her brother, Mario; her sister, Jenny; and her brother, Freddy.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82 in Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am on Wednesday at Saint Columba Church, 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Entombment will be at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley.
