Obituary for Robert V Pasquale

Wappingers Falls- Robert V. Pasquale, an East Fishkill resident since 1971, formerly of Yonkers, died on March 19, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 75.

Born in Yonkers on April 13, 1944, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Genoveffa Pasquale. Robert dedicated 38 years working for Con Edison in Elmsford as a contract inspector before retiring in 2001. Robert proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.

On September 18, 1971 Robert married the love of his life, Nicolina “Nicki” (D’Alessio) Pasquale, who survives at home. Robert is also survived by his son and his wife, Robert and Karin (Zdrojewski) Pasquale; his daughter and her husband, Laura and Josh Barach; his grandsons, Austin Pasquale, Pierson Montanez, and Jonathan Montanez; his great granddaughter, Sofia Montanez; his brother, Gabriel (Dave) Pasquale; and many nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by his brothers, Nicholas Pasquale and Anthony Pasquale; and his sisters, Ida Otto and Mary Seamon.

Robert loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons and great granddaughter, the queen of the planet. He enjoyed golfing, volunteering at the Castle Point food pantry, was a former member of the Sons of Italy, and assisted with the East Fishkill baseball and softball league.

A memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on Friday, August 14, 2020 at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, New York. Inurnment and military honors will immediately follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery 801 Route 9, Fishkill, New York.
