Obituary for Anthony "Tony" Felicito

Anthony “Tony” Felicito, 86, a resident of the Schervier Pavilion in Warwick and formerly of Brooklyn, died on April 21, 2020 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Warwick.

Born in Brooklyn on January 26, 1934, he was the son of Anthony and Jennie (Giannone) Felicito. Anthony proudly served our country as a Sergeant First Class and Map Specialist with the US Army during the Korean War. He attended the Pan-America Art School and was employed as a Commercial Artist for an advertising firm in Manhattan.

Anthony was a parishioner of St. Athanasius Church in Brooklyn. A talented and award-winning artist, he was involved with the PGC Players, the Fountain Gallery, and the Children’s Museum, as well as with many churches, schools and drama clubs. He enjoyed going to see plays on Broadway. Recently, he was chosen to participate in an Honor Flight to Washington DC.

Anthony is survived by his nieces and their husbands, Joanne and Vincent Campione, Johnette and John Berlingieri, & Joy-Linda and Joseph Messina; his great nieces and nephews, Sean Campione, Anthony and Carolyn Campione, Elissa Messina, Kristopher Berlingieri, and Kristina Messina; his great, great nieces, Lilly and Ella Campione; and his wonderful friend, Sharon Black. He was predeceased by his sister, Josephine D’Auria; and his brother, Alfred Felicito.

Private services were held for the family. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
