To my ever real friend, Sonny, I will always remember you, always there to boost us when we were down, uplift our spirits when we need it, the only thing I didn’t agree with you was you went away ahead of us, nobody will tell us to stand up and get over it and lick our own wounds, only you I treasure your word of wisdom, till I see then in the next life brother, may the Almighty Father bless you and shine over your soul. I should have told this but I will pray you can see this message. Thank you friend. Bro Ismael Trinidad MD.

Knew sonny since pre med.. was one of the good guys , fun to be with. Remember fondly playing basketball with sonny during med school... he even coached the class team ... sadly we never became champions during our 4 yrs in med school ( did manage to come in second twice... close but no cigar).. never saw him after med school.. deeply saddened by his passing..wished i could have played one last game with him..

I never really knew Sonny from med school because “Vilar” was far from the “M” group but I kinda’ know he was a good natured man, caused no trouble and very funny. After so many years, I saw his picture in the East Coast reunions, looking happy. He will surely be missed by family, co-workers and classmates. May he Rest In Peace in the loving embrace of the Lord. My sincerest condolences. Classmate - Beng Maglaya Pira, MN
