MILLBROOK – Arlene Mary Dauphin, a Millbrook resident since 2007 and formerly of Hopewell Junction, Flushing, and the Bronx, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 73.
Daughter of the late Francis J. and Elizabeth R. (Fisher) Topham, she was born in the Bronx on December 8, 1946. For many years, Arlene worked as a finance professional.
She was employed by Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, and had worked for other companies including Home Funding, Scholastic Publishing, and New York Telephone Company.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Millbrook and was a former board member of Church Alliance Gardens.
Arlene’s vibrant sense of humor enlivened any gathering. She enjoyed watching the New York Yankees, spending time at the seaside, and having a good meal with family & friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Alexandra Martinez & her husband David of Hyde Park; her daughter, Victoria Mondelli & her husband Stephen of Columbia, MO; her daughter, Monique Dauphin & her husband James Barry of Poughkeepsie; her son, John LoCascio of Sleepy Hollow; her grandchildren, Leah Martinez, Katherine Martinez, and Thomas Mondelli; her sister, Frances Hayes & her husband Frank of Wappingers Falls; and her cousin, Lynne Levinson & her husband Larry of Oneonta.
In addition, Arlene was loved by so many extended family members and friends including her stepchildren and step-grandchildren, the DeTraglia Family, as well as lifelong friends and neighbors who all share in the family’s grief.
She was predeceased by her father, Frank “Toppy” Topham in 1986, her mother, Elizabeth “Bessie” Topham in 1964; and her cousin, Betty Ann McNerney in 2020.
