Obituary for Kanmoni Solomon (Davis)

Kanmoni Solomon, of Chennai, India, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, May 11, 2020 at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was 73.

Daughter of the late Jesudass Ratnam Davis and Suganthi Christian, she was born in Tiruchirapalli, India on August 26, 1946. Kanmoni was a member of St. Andrew’s Church (“The Kirk”) in Chennai, where she was a Sunday School teacher. Her hobbies included gardening, home décor, and music.

On December 14, 1966, she married Dr. Ebenezer Solomon in Tiruchirapalli. Kanmoni was predeceased by her husband on September 16, 2017.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Matthias Solomon & his wife Elizabeth of Dallas, TX; her daughter, Dr. Priscilla George & her husband Joseph of Fishkill, NY; her grandchildren, Rebekah Solomon, Joel Solomon, Nina Solomon, Meira Solomon, Mark George, and Joanna George; and many other loving relatives & friends.

Services are private with interment taking place at Fishkill Rural Cemetery in Fishkill, NY.
