Obituary for Aldo Travan
Fishkill- Aldo Travan, a resident of Fishkill since 2014, and previously of Ossining, the Bronx, and Croatia, died on June 16, 2020, he was 79.
Aldo was born on February 7, 1941 in Italy/Croatia to the late Natale and Eda Maria (Frank) Travan. On October 16, 1965, he married the love of his life, Irene (Konatic) in Rijeka, Croatia, she survives at home.
Before his retirement in 2006, Aldo dedicated 25 years to the Woodbrook Gardens in Irvington in the maintenance department. Aldo enjoyed playing soccer for many years.
In addition to his wife, Irene, he is also survived by his daughter Sanja Kennedy and her husband Frank; his daughter Irene Vertucci and her husband Tommy; his granddaughter, Amanda; his grandson, Francis, his grandson, Matthew; his grandson, Zachary; his granddaughter, Meghan; his sister, Alice Fusik; and his brother, Davor Travan. In addition to his parents, Aldo was predeceased by his brother, Bruno Travan.
A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 10 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church 106 Jackson Street Fishkill, New York.
