Balvinder Kaur Bhinder, 52, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on July 30, 2020.

Balvinder was a woman of great warmth, love, and whose finest qualities were exemplified in her relationships. As a mother she was adoring, nurturing, generous and selfless. As a wife she was supportive, encouraging, and a great listener. She was truly a pillar of strength to all who knew her.

Born in the village of Sunet, Punjab, India on May 17, 1968, Balvinder was the daughter of Prem Singh and Rachpal Kaur. She was employed as a Medical Biller for Hudson River Healthcare and was a member of the Mid Hudson Sikh Cultural Society. She was devoted to the Sikh religion and its teachings and remained in Chardi Kala. Balvinder was happiest at home, where she enjoyed keeping things orderly, sewing, and watching Survivor.

Balvinder is survived by her husband, Karamjit Singh Bhinder; her children, Sumeet Kaur Bhinder and Jeevenjot Singh Bhinder; her siblings, Jaswinder Singh Khangura, Gurmit Kaur, Naseeb Kaur and Manjit Kaur; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
