Obituary for Elizabeth Anne Connor
Elizabeth “Betty” Connor, 88, of Poughkeepsie, NY and formerly of Yonkers, died peacefully on September 25, 2020.
Elizabeth was born on July 14, 1932, the daughter of the late John and Sarah McCabe. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Eugene Church in Yonkers. She was a dedicated member of the Yonkers Chapter of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann for many years.
Elizabeth is survived by her children and their spouses, Michael & Kathy Connor, Anne Connor, and Patrick & Danielle Connor; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Brian, and Aaron; her beloved sister, Kathleen O’Neill; her nieces and nephew, Cathleen, Sarah, and John O’Neill.
She was predeceased by her husband Patrick in 2001, as well as her brother, Jack McCabe.
Services will be private with interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla.
