Obituary for John Edward Tetterton
John Edward Tetterton “Jack”, 81, a resident of Wappingers Falls and previously of Highand and Jackson Heights, died on October 26, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Born on December 26, 1938 in Chicago, IL, Jack was the son of Millard “Ted” and Kathryn D. (McGraw) Tetterton. On October 28, 1972 in Kent, Jack married Daryl A. Hogan who predeceased him on January 20, 1995.
Jack proudly served our country in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1962 and worked as a Correctional Officer for New York State Department of Corrections in Fishkill for 25 years until his retirement in 1997.
Jack is survived by his children, Ryan Soule and her husband Jonathan of Westwood, NJ, and Diana Tetterton of Washington, D.C.; his grandchildren, Elinore and Jude Soule; and his longtime companion, Margaret Langan of Wappingers Falls.
At this time, services will be private for the family.
Memorial donations may be made St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
