I met Sue when I was a young child and was very excited when she married our brother Kerry in a big church wedding. Although they moved to New York, we always saw Sue at our family reunions in Michigan as well as when she/they visited my family in Hawaii, Northern California and Oregon. Sue was very intelligent, had a great sense of humor, and was an adventuresome traveler. I was in awe of how much she loved my brother for 58 years. I enjoyed being with her last year for a few weeks, and admired how well she dealt with her physical ailments. She was a part of the Borchardt family for almost six decades, and will be greatly missed. It gives me comfort to know that she is feeling blissful now, and visiting with those who have gone before her. (I think that she is smiling down at all of us who are missing her...) Sue touched many lives and I am very glad to have known her.

Sue's service was lovely. I learned many new things about her and her music volunteer work at your church. And your pastor is kind and loving.
God bless you and watch over you during this time of grieving.
Love, Bonnie

Very sorry Kerry. My memories from when I was a child were her Christmas cookies that were so pretty, and the hand made knitted doll clothes for Christmas. I kept them for 50 years!

I posted a pic of Sue's light blue Honda that she gifted to me after getting a new vehicle. I enjoy driving it! And I'm sharing 2 photos of Sue & Kerry during their last visit to Michigan, summer of 2019.

When Sue & Kerry would come home for Christmas, Sue always brought plenty of Christmas cookies that she baked with her love. Rest you well, dear Sue, in the Loving Arms of the Lord Jesus Christ. ♡ With love from your sister-in-law Bonnie.

So sad to hear of Sue’s passing. Kerry - you took her on quite an Adventure when she said, “I do.” You found a companion as into nature and “smelling the roses” as you are, and you built a wonderful life with your sons. I always enjoyed getting Sue on the phone when I called you about film biz, and more often than not, you were engaging in your Other favorite pastime - “napping” - so Sue and I often would have a good chat. She is now on her own celestial journey, but the love shared with family and friends transcends time. My deepest sympathies to you all. Liz “aka “Jessica’s Mom - Starlit.”
