Obituary for Patricia A Neumann (Rutherford)
Fishkill- Patricia Ann Neumann, a resident of Fishkill, NY (formerly of Ossining and Brooklyn, NY) passed away on December 13, 2020 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 77.
Patricia was born on October 11, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Alfred and Margaret (Scully) Rutherford.
On May 28, 1972 she married the love of her life Ted at St. Anslem in Brooklyn. They moved to Ossining in 1972 and lived there until 2003 before coming to Fishkill.
Patricia was a life-member of the Columbiettes in Ossining and Fishkill and T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) a weight loss self-help group where she made many good friends.
Patricia enjoyed tap dancing and even had personalized license plates that said “TAPNPAT”. Cruising, Cross-Country Driving, RV Camping, and seeing Broadway plays with family were some of her favorite pastimes. She was a dog lover, always having a family dog.
She was a kind, giving woman who loved to laugh and loved life. A proud Mom and Nana, she adored her family, spending time with them and hosting family dinners and parties and teaching her grand-daughters to crochet.
In addition to her husband Ted, Patricia is survived by her children A. Michael Neumann of Port Murray, NJ, Charlene (Doug) Ruggiero of Valhalla, NY, Grandchildren Grey, Zoe, Skye and Aidan Neumann of Port Murray, NJ and her sister Margaret “Peggy” (Joe) Langlois of Old Bridge, NJ and her loving dog Max.
Visitation will be held on June 13, 2021 from 1:30-3:30 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 MainStreet, Fishkill. A memorial service will follow at 3:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Cure Alliance. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc.
