Obituary for Nannette F. Neumar (Fitzpatrick)

Nannette F. Neumar, 84, a resident of Wappingers Falls since 1966 and previously of Derry, NH and Queens, died on January 7, 2021 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital.
Born on April 24, 1936 in the Bronx, Nannette was the daughter of Michael and Virginia (Hughes) Fitzpatrick. On August 18, 1956 in the Bronx, Nanette married the love of her life Edward Neumar who survives at home.
Nannette was a parishioner of St. Columba Church and was member of the Nimble Thimbles and Red Hat Society. Nannette loved to do her Mom Things including Girl Scouts, school volunteer, CCD teacher, substitute teacher and enjoyed spending time visiting those in need. She received a Bachelors in Education from Hunter College.
In addition to her husband, Nannette is survived by her children, Dianne Marvin and her husband Chris of Manchester, CT, Michael and his wife Diane of Cary, NC, Terry Martino and her husband Bert of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, Kevin, Megan, Harley and Thomas; her great grandchildren, Alex and Declan; her siblings, Paul Fitzpatrick, Priscilla Delehanty, Marybeth Egan; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Virginia Burke.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 3-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10am at St. Columba Church. 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment at St. Denis Cemetery.
