Jen was one of my treasured students at Dutchess Community College. I have a treasured photo of her when I took her to a conference and she won first prize for her research project. With her delightful sense of humor, she carried the trophy with her everywhere for the rest of the weekend, including taking it to bed with her. A giving, kind person, she was a joy to be around and so much fun. We lost touch a few years ago when I retired due to serious illness but I have thought of her often. The world is not so bright and lovely with her not in it and my condolences go to her family and all who loved her.
