Obituary for Margaret Mary "Margie" Bauer
Margaret “Margie” Mary Bauer, 51, a lifelong area resident, died on April 1, 2021 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on May 14, 1969 in Poughkeepsie, Margie was the daughter of John and Margaret (Loop) Bauer.
Margie worked as a receptionist for Hudson Highlands Veterinary in Hopewell Junction. She enjoyed playing Bingo and volunteered for many organizations. Margie loved football especially her NY Jets.
Margie is survived by her son, Brian Baccomo and his wife, Polly; her grandchildren, Maggie and Dylan; her mother, Margaret; her siblings, Karen Bauer, John Bauer and his wife Patricia Byrne, Joe Bauer and his wife Kathleen, Janice Bauer; her nieces and nephews, Jamie, David, Stephen, Emily, Mary and Alice; and her cat, Toby.
A celebration of Margie’s Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sparrows Nest of Hudson Valley or American Cancer Society.
