Obituary for Frances Antoniolli (Evangelista)
WAPPINGERS FALLS – Frances Antoniolli, 86, an area resident since 1981 and formerly of Brentwood, died on April 14, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in the Bronx on April 3, 1935, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Wilhelmina (Hilgert) Evangelista. Frances worked at Happy Hours Day Care in Wappingers Falls until her retirement in 1990. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Columba Church.
On April 17, 1955 at St. Athanasius Church in the Bronx, Frances married Andrew Antoniolli who survives at home. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, Andrew and Donna Antoniolli, Carl and Jennifer Antoniolli and Laura and William Hinrichs; her siblings, Louise Spinosa, Virginia Rega and Nicholas Evangelista; and 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Henbry, Frankie Evangelista, Wilhelmina Guigliano, Angelina Nobile, Nancy Morris, and Atnoinette Mildenburger.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 9-11am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 11:30am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Saturday would have been her 66th wedding anniversary. Private interment will be in St. Denis Cemetery.
