Obituary for Eileen Helen DeAngelo
Eileen Helen DeAngelo, 70, of Hopewell Junction and previously of the Bronx, died on April 16th 2021 at home after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family.
Born on November 21, 1950 in the Bronx, Eileen was the daughter of Walter and Stella (Gileno) Wasserlauf. On May 5, 1973 , Eileen married the love of her life, Theodore “Teddy” DeAngelo, who survives at home. Eileen graduated from Grace Dodge high school where she received her hair dressing license and then took a job at Crystal Charm hair salon in the Bronx where she worked for many years before moving to Hopewell Junction where she successfully ran her own business.
In addition to her husband, Eileen is survived by her sons, Teddy DeAngelo and his wife Kim of Millbrook, and Corey DeAngelo of Pleasant Valley; her grandsons, Nicholas and Michael DeAngelo; her sisters, Barbara Weiss and her husband Stan, and Diane Demayo and her husband Luke; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 3-4pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc, 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
