Obituary for Brian Michael Beigert

WAPPINGERS FALLS – Brian Michael Beigert, 54, an area resident since 1999, died after a brief illness on January 6, 2022 surrounded by his family at the Regional Hospice Center in Danbury, CT. He previously lived in Buchanan.

Brian was born in Anchorage, AK on August 30, 1967. He graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School in 1985 and then proudly served in the US Air Force from 1987 – 1989. Brian had been employed by Verizon for many years.

Brian will be remembered as an honest man who loved to help people in need, and would especially do anything for his loved ones.

Brian is survived by his wife of 26 years, Heather (Smith) Beigert; his daughter, Elizabeth Beigert; his son, Jacob Beigert; his mother, Michelle Formica; his brother, Brett Beigert and his wife Marisol; his aunts and uncles, Melinda Rinzivillo, Pamela and Dave Szen, and Jed and Mary Rinzivillo; his mother-in-law, Judy Smith-Regalia and her husband Don; and his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Stefany and Miguel Lopez and Nicole and George Hicks; and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Brian was predeceased by his father, Jeffrey Beigert; and his grandmother who he affectionately called “Mema”, Grace Rinzivillo.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 2-6 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3pm at the Hopewell Reformed Church, 143 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by military honors.
