Obituary for June Bleakley
Fishkill- June Bleakley a resident of Fishkill, NY passed away on May 16, 2022, at home. She was 74.
June was born on July 2, 1947, in the Bronx, NY the daughter of the late Daniel and Dorothy (Heimer) Kenny.
On December 16, 1967, she married the love of her life Rudolph “Rudy” Bleakley at the Church of the Devine Love in Montrose, NY. He survives at home.
For over 25 years, June worked for the United States Postal Service where she was a mail carrier.
June raised and showed Golden Retriever dogs, some that were even poster pups for different businesses. She loved Ford Mustangs and even was known to race them. What she loved most though was spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, June is survived by her sons Rudy Jr and his wife Sarah and Kevin and his wife Nancy. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Hudson, Rudy III, Elizabeth and Morgan, her sister Susan and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents and her brother Danny.
Calling hours will be on Saturday May 21, 2022, from 9am to 11am at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill Inc. 1089 Main Street Fishkill, NY. A graveside service will take place at 11:45am at Sunset Cemetery in Montrose, NY.
