Obituary for Mary Hengst
Mary Hengst, 64, an area resident since 1991, died peacefully at home on June 11, 2022. She previously lived in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Mary is survived by her husband, Charles R. Hengst; her daughter, Michelle Rose Rexhouse and her husband Thomas; her grandchildren, Lucas and Levi; her sister, Madeline Bono; and nieces and nephews Ty, Tara, Laura, Raymond, Christopher, & Salvatore.
Mary was predeceased by her son, David Hengst in 2013; her mother, Mary Cataneo ; and her two brothers, Johnny and Sal.
Mary was a passionate person who exuded strength and love. She never waned in her support or love for her family, and who soldiered on even when times were tough.
