HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Anthony D. “Naz” Nazzaro, 57, an area resident for 15 years, died on July 22, 2022 at home. He previously lived in the Bronx.
Anthony was born in the Bronx on January 27, 1965, He was employed as a selector for UNFI in Montgomery.
He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Las Vegas Raiders, and the New York Rangers. Anthony liked going to the movies and the beach, and playing games and pool volleyball. More than anything, he loved being able to make everyone laugh. There was never a dull moment when he walked into a room, and he never said anything bad about anyone. Anthony will be remembered as a caring, loving, and selfless person who was friendly to all those he met.
Anthony is survived by his daughter, Veronica Nazzaro and her boyfriend Sven Smith; his mother, Grace Nazzaro; his sisters, Carolyn Staiano and Stephanie Bryant and her husband Don; his nephews, Domenick and Anthony Staiano; Veronica’s mother and siblings, Debbie McPherson, Tom, Dawn, and Ashley; his loving girlfriend, Diane Sarracco-Doty; and many friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 4th from 4-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, August 5th at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
