Obituary for Michael Anthony Naccarato

POUGHKEEPSIE – Michael Anthony Naccarato, a local area resident since 1995, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was 65.

Son of the late Michael Joseph and Hilda (Markowitz) Naccarato, he was born in the Bronx on August 4, 1956.

For 25 years, Michael worked as a sanitation driver for Suburban Carting in Briarcliff Manor, retiring in 2021. He was a member of St. Martin de Porres Church in Poughkeepsie and was an avid New York Yankees and New York Rangers fan. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with family and friends, especially on “Sunday Funday”.

On January 16, 1981, he married the love of his life, Lauren Marvulli in Yonkers. Lauren survives at home in Poughkeepsie.

Additional survivors include his daughter, Nicole Angioletti & her husband Mark of Fishkill; his daughter, Michelle Morgan & her husband Tim of Poughkeepsie; his son, Michael Naccarato, Jr. & his wife Alyssa of Poughkeepsie; his son, Thomas Card of Mobile, AL; his grandchildren, Ava Lebron, Juliana Fernandes, Avery Card, Antonio Angioletti, Donato Morgan, Alessia Naccarato, Vincenzo Morgan, and Liviana Naccarato; his sister, Susie Addonizio & her husband Joseph of Colorado; his siblings-in-law, Guy & Jiyon Marvulli, Victor & Michelle Marrero, Robert Zierer, and Robin & Anthony DiPalma; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.

In addition to his family, Michael had many co-workers and friends from Suburban Carting; his fishing brothers, Pat and Jimmy; and countless friends.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10 at St. Martin de Porres Church, 118 Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie, NY.
