Obituary for Edwin Peter Endlich

On Monday, September 19th, Edwin Peter Endlich, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away. He was 72. A graduate of Manhattan College, with a masters in Business from Sacred Heart University, Ed spent a career in software sales before retiring and becoming the resident property manager for Four Corners in Hopewell Junction, where he lived.

Ed met the love of his life, his wife Jacqueline, when he was 16 at a Knicks game, and although she thought he was obnoxious that day, they would go on to wed, share three children, and would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in October.

Edwin is survived by his wife Jacqueline Endlich; his children, Samantha and her husband, Aaron Beverley, Edwin and his partner, Brianna Bishop, and Ashley and her husband, Alexander Kernitsky; his two grandchildren, Ava and Noah; his sister Ellen and her husband, Owen Cooper, and her children Victoria and Ryan. He was predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Eleanor Endlich and his grandson, Christopher.

Although referred to as Mr. Magoo among his family for his constant bumps and bruises - he was loved unconditionally and will be missed by everyone in his family and the community.

A memorial open to all will be held for Ed on Saturday, September 24th, at 5 p.m. at the Four Corners Clubhouse located at 2 Four Corners Boulevard, Hopewell Junction, NY, 12533. Please visit Ed’s Book of Memories at www.mchoulfuneralhome.com.
