Obituary for Carol Ann Murray
Poughkeepsie – Carol Ann Murray, age 61, formerly of Yorktown, passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2022, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident
Carol Ann was born on March 4, 1961, in White Plains, NY to parents John and Catherine (O’Grady) Murray. She loved to write poems, and was an extremely generous person - strong willed, and a fighter. She was kind and thoughtful and vibrant.
Carol is survived by her daughter Sara Lynn and son John Joseph, her siblings: Cynthia Strang, James Murray, Timothy Murray, and Lynn Ponder, as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Deborah Rossiter.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a service at 7:30pm.
