Obituary for Mary Theresa Kittrick
Mary T. Kittrick, 61, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Northern Westchester Hospital.
She was born December 8, 1960 in Mount Vernon to William and Barbara McAleer. After her family moved to Mahopac, she soon met the love of her life, Christopher Kittrick, and they would get to share 35 years of marriage together. So full of love was Mary that she dedicated her life to her family. She loved to be a part of the community and help others all while using her many talents - from driving her daughter to dance classes, to helping lead Girl Scout Troop 419, to helping sew costumes for the next school play. It was never about the big ticket; simply being together with family, sharing stories over a home cooked meal was all she needed. Mary was so full of love that anyone who crossed her path was suddenly overflowing with love themselves.
She is survived by her husband, Chris; daughter Erin; brothers Billy McAleer and Andrew McAleer; and sister Liz Cassels; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family, friends and others who have been touched by her generosity and kindness are invited to McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm to grieve, reminisce, support one another, and share all that love she has given us. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 11am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction.
