Obituary for Lorraine M. Pasquale (Czerwinski)

FISHKILL- Lorraine Pasquale, a local area resident since 1999, formerly of Yonkers and Scarsdale, died at her home at the Regency at Fishkill on November 30, 2022. She was 83 years old.

Daughter of the late Louis and Sophie (Rozycki) Czerwinski, she was born in Yonkers on November 8, 1939. Lorraine graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers in 1957. She was a parishioner at St. Mary, Mother of the Church. An avid reader, Lorraine also liked playing scrabble and painting, especially oil paintings. Along with her husband, she traveled to Europe, Mexico, the Bahamas, and throughout the United States. She also enjoyed spending summers on Long Beach Island, NJ and going to Broadway shows. She was a fan of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Meatloaf, and Sonny and Cher, who she named two of her cats after.

On February 16, 1959, in Yonkers, she married Genaro Pasquale who survives at home. She is also survived by her daughter, Michele Pasquale; her sister, Carol Pastore, and her husband Paul of Yonkers; her nephew and niece, Nicole and Michael Pignatero and Jason and Devon Diermeieier, and their children Callahan and Daniel. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was also predeceased by her sons, Donald and Bruce Pasquale.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 10 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill.
