Obituary for Linda Ann Di Salvo

Linda Ann Di Salvo, age 83, passed away at home on March 31, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born in the Bronx, NY on March 4, 1940 to parents Emile and Marie (Biavaschi) Stefanini.

Prior to her retirement in 2002, Linda worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for many years for R & R Transcription. She also worked as an Office Manager for a family business in Mahopac, NY. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching movies, listening to opera music, and growing and tending her indoor plants. She had a special talent for painting and drawing, and she loved chocolate of any kind and of course her coffee.

Being surrounded by her children and grandchildren during their visits always made her especially happy and she greatly enjoyed spending time with them. Even during her worst moments, she never complained and would always keep that beautiful smile on her face.

Linda is survived by her companion, Andre Williams; son Louis A. Di Salvo and his partner Lisa Johanassen of Westport Island, ME; her daughter Denise Macio and her husband Wayne of Clayton, NC; her daughter Laryssa Verde and partner Dan Smith of Hamburg, NJ; her granddaughter Amanda Macio Writt and her wife Tara of Jersey City, NJ; granddaughter Samantha Macio and her wife Arianna of Queensbury, NY; granddaughter Lindsey Vara and her husband Matthew of Clayton, NC; granddaughter Adrienne Di Salvo and her husband Chadd Lacy of West Palm Beach, FL; grandson Louis M. Di Salvo, Jr. of Auburn, ME; grandson Matthew Di Salvo of Gaithersburg, MD; grandsons Christopher and Garrett Verde of Middletown, NY; and grandson Jamie Verde of Hamburg, NJ.

She was predeceased by her parents Emile and Marie Stefanini, her former husband Luciano A. Di Salvo, her brother Alfred Stefanini, and her two grandsons Jesse and Nicholas Verde.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday April 15th 2023 at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church 35 Willow Street Beacon, NY.
