Obituary for Robert M. Hinchliffe
Robert M. Hinchliffe, age 73, passed away on May 9, 2023.
He was born on January 30, 1950 in Elkhart, Indiana, the son of Alfred and Anelia (Kroupe) Hinchliffe. He married his loving wife Rose (Nyemchek) Vaccarielli-Hinchliffe on December 29, 1990. Rose survives at home.
For many years, Robert worked as a driver and maintenance worker for Mt. Vernon Health Center. He was referred to lovingly by his peers and friends as “Doctor Bob,” but more importantly, he was affectionately called “Bopper” by his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Rose E. “Bea”, Robert is survived by his children: Wendy Vaccarielli, Lisa Ann Vaccarielli, and Frank Vaccariello and his fiancé Yvette Ayala, as well as two daughters and several grandchildren from a previous marriage; and his grandchildren: Amanda and her husband Tom, Makalya and her husband Danny, Kaylian, Vanessa, Frank Marco, Lucas and Gabby; and his great-granddaughter Ava.
He was predeceased by his 3 brothers.
Calling hours will be held from 12-3 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 2:30 pm on Saturday May 13, 2023 at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, NY 12533.
