Obituary for Karen V. Fuller
HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Karen V. Fuller, 71, a lifelong area resident, passed away on May 20, 2023 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born on April 11, 1952 in Albany, Karen was the daughter of the late Robert and Gladys (Wiedeman) VanDeusen. She was employed by Bell Telephone in Poughkeepsie for over 20 years and then worked as a teaching assistant for Wappingers Central School District until her retirement in 2015.
Karen is survived by her husband of 43 years, Mark Fuller at home; her daughter, Cassandra Fuller of PA; her sister, Cynthia VanDeusen and her husband Eddie; her brothers, Bobby VanDeusen, Chris VanDeusen, and Mark VanDeusen and his wife Alexandra; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Zoey and Tia.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by two sisters; Martha VanDeusen and Betsy VanDeusen.
