Obituary for Faith Viggiani
Union Vale- Faith Viggiani, a Union Vale resident since 1977 and formerly of Mt. Vernon, died at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie on November 11, 2023. She was 74.
Daughter of the late Stewart James Swan and Mary Eveleen Grace, she was born in Mount Vernon on May 16, 1949. Faith was a cashier at ShopRite in Fishkill, NY. She worked there for over 30 years.
Faith was a parishioner at St. Joseph - Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Millbrook. Faith loved to travel and she enjoyed going to casinos. She loved her scratch-off tickets too. Most of all,she enjoyed spending time with her family.
On August 12, 1972, she married Bernard Viggiani at Sacred Heart Church in Mount Vernon. Bernard survives at home. She is also survived by her son, Bernard (Aimee) Viggiani of Philadelphia, PA; her daughter, Michelle (Paul) Winters of Amenia, NY; her son, Michael (Amber) Viggiani of Stanfordville, NY; her grandchildren, Haley, Alexis, Meredith, & Shyla; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her grandson Noah, and her siblings Jimmy, Bobby, & Marylou.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 17, at St. Joseph - Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 15 North Ave, Millbrook, NY 12545. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
