Theodore R. Williams, 87, of LaGrangeville for the past 24 years, passed away at home on November 9, 2010.
He was born in Hertfordshire, England on December 2, 1922 to Violet Pearl Aubrey Hamilton Kennedy and Theodore Williams. He traveled on the Gunard Liner Aquatania in 1927 from England to the USA, passing through Ellis Island. Theodore graduated from Central Islip High School and served in the US Army during World War II.
Before residing in LaGrangeville, he was a Senior Adjustor with G.A.B., Inc. in White Plains for 30 years and a resident of North White Plains for 36 years. He loved spending time with his family who all adored him.
Theodore is survived by his wife of 66 years, Alice C. Williams of LaGrangeville; three children, Bruce Williams of Hyde Park, Shelley Esposito of Stormville and Kathleen Pfister of Pleasant Valley; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Kendle and Kristoffer Ruzich, Christopher and Fernanda Williams, Brian Williams and Kate Werher, Joseph and Samantha Esposito, Kelly and Jake Simmons, Keri Pfister, K.C. Pfister and Regina Esposito; six great-grandchildren, Brittany Cairns, Lakyn and Dean Ruzich, Rachel and Erik Williams and Avery Williams; son-in-law, Karl Pfister Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Sheila Delson and her husband Jeffrey. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, John Esposito; and his sister, Theodora.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Taylor Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow in Kensico Cemetery with military honors.
