WAPPINGERS FALLS - Adeline P. Baker, 88, passed away peacefully at home on June 6, 2025. Adeline was born on September 11, 1936, to the late Enrico and Margaret (DeFillipo) Manocchi in Mount Vernon, New York. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Baker on July 17, 2013. They were married on November 29, 1954, in Mount Vernon.

Adeline dedicated her life to her family, cherishing her role as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A long-time resident of Valhalla for 42 years, she later made her home in Wappingers Falls, where she continued to touch the lives of those around her. Her strong faith led her to be an active member of By God's Grace Ministry in Beacon, where she found community and fellowship.

Adeline is survived by her loving children Frank (Laura) Baker Jr, Stephen Baker, Karen (Mark) Mauro, Marianne (Bob) Baker; her beloved grandchildren, Gregory (Erin) Baker, Alison (Patrick) O'Loughlin, Jacqueline (Kyle) Brown, Mark (Lara) Mauro, Nicole (Anthony) Gazivoda, Jessica Mauro; and her adoring great-grandchildren, Royce, Lincoln, Scarlett, Brody, Ada, Carson, Declan, Grace, Alexander, and Adriana; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Adeline is also survived by her siblings MaryAnn Dellacamera, Phyllis Fiorenza, and Dominick Manocchi.

In addition to her parents, Adeline is also predeceased by her sister Joanne Covelli and her brother Louis Manocchi.

Calling hours will be held Monday, June 9, 2025, at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY from 4pm to 7pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 11am at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. Interment to follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY 12524.
