Adeline Joan DiFabio, 93, died on April 10, 2020 at Salem Hills Nursing Home in Purdys. She was a lifelong resident of the Bronx.
Born in New York City on October 31, 1926, Adeline was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Ciaffa) Carucci. On October 18, 1947 in Maryland, she married Bernard F. DiFabio who predeceased her on August 13, 1989. Adeline worked for Dr. Julius Carucci in the Bronx then for Wannamakers Department Store in Yonkers. She was a parishioner at St. Barnabas Church in the Bronx.
Adeline is survived by her daughter, Denise Walsh and her husband Brendan of LaGrange; her grandchildren, Brendan C. Walsh of Poughkeepsie, Jennifer Forys and her husband Jeff of Wappingers Falls, and Colin Walsh of New Milford, NJ; and her great-grandchildren, Jordan Walsh, Gianna Walsh, Brendan C. Walsh, Jr., and Landon Forys.
In addition to her husband and parents, Adeline was also predeceasd by her siblings, Anthony, Julius, Peter "Junior" Carucci, Rita Marrone, and Rose Scavetta.
Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association.
